Making
Effective Presentations Around the World
This 2½ -day workshop will equip you
with the necessary skills to make professional presentations
around the world. It is a four-in-one presentation
workshop which combines: I. a structural framework
for an audience-centered message; II. delivery techniques
(voice, body language and gestures for creating impact);
III. guidelines for using visual support; IV. intercultural
tips for making your presentations in different target
cultures. Course participants are requested to come
to the workshop with a presentation theme that relates
to their work.
Participants learn how to prepare
and develop their key message using an audience-centered
approach to presenting products, services or even
when providing general information. You are provided
a structure to help present your ideas clearly and
the specific language needed to be able to present
coherently in English
How you say something can be just
as important as what you say. Therefore, participants
will learn and practice the important aspects of "storytelling",
using proper intonation, pauses, volume, tempo
and body language...as well as how and when
to use examples, anecdotes and analogies.
III.
Visual support
Effective speakers use visuals to support their
message - and not drown it under too many - and often
"busy" slides. In this section, participants
will learn when to use slides and how they
should look.
